FOE Action Endorses Barbara Lee for California’s U.S. Senate seat

WASHINGTON – Today, Friends of the Earth Action endorsed Congresswoman Barbara Lee for California’s U.S. Senate primary race. Congresswoman Lee has fought tirelessly for environmental justice communities for decades and is a staunch supporter for bold climate action, aligning with the organization’s mission to elect leaders who will put people over polluters. 

Ariel Moger, Government and Political Affairs Director at Friends of the Earth Action, released the following statement: 

“We’re thrilled to endorse Barbara Lee to represent California in the U.S. Senate. Congresswoman Lee has demonstrated time and time again her commitment to people and the planet. Her stance for environmental justice and against false climate solutions proves she’s the environmental champion that Californians, and our country, needs. We implore voters to back her at the ballot box in March.”
