Friends of the Earth Action Endorses Andrea Crooms in Maryland Race 

WASHINGTON – Today, Friends of the Earth Action announced its endorsement of Andrea Crooms for Maryland’s Fifth Congressional District. Crooms has extensive experience fighting for sound environmental policy, promoting renewable energy and championing environmental justice. The Maryland primary will be held on May 14. 

Ariel E. Moger, Government and Political Affairs Director at Friends of the Earth Action, issued the following statement: 

Friends of the Earth Action is thrilled to endorse Andrea Crooms, an unapologetic progressive environmental champion, for Maryland’s Fifth Congressional district. Crooms understands the reality of our climate emergency and will fight against the extraction of dirty fossil fuels harming our planet and communities. We look forward to seeing them take the fight for a healthier and more just world to Congress and urge Marylanders to support Crooms in the May primary. 

Friends of the Earth Action also announced a joint endorsement today of Clarence Lam for Maryland’s Third Congressional district.
