Friends of the Earth Action endorses Nabilah Islam, progressive candidate for Georgia’s 7th congressional district

WASHINGTON – Friends of the Earth Action announced its endorsement today of Nabilah Islam, a progressive candidate running to fill the open seat in Georgia’s 7^th congressional district.

Ariel Moger, political coordinator for Friends of the Earth Action, issued the following statement on behalf of the organization:

Now more than ever, America needs leaders who will stand up to corrupt interests and fight to protect the rights of communities and our environment. Friends of the Earth Action is proud to endorse Nabilah Islam who is ready and eager to take on that fight. We call on our members, supporters, environmentalists, and voters in Georgia’s 7^th Congressional district to send this progressive champion to Congress.
