Friends of the Earth Action Endorses Progressive Incumbents in 2020 Democratic Primaries

WASHINGTON– Friends of the Earth Action announced today its first round of endorsements for seven candidates seeking reelection around the country, reaffirming the organization’s support for incumbents who consistently fight to protect our environment and stand up against the corruption of the Trump Administration.

Erich Pica, President of Friends of the Earth Action, issued the following statement:

These progressive champions don’t just talk a big game when it comes to systemic change – they actually show up and fight for it. Their leadership on essential issues like our environment and our democracy has been consistent and invaluable. To solve the climate crisis, we need elected officials like these who will take on the corporate polluters who poison our communities for profit. We are proud to endorse these inspirational candidates who fight every day for people and the planet.
