Friends of the Earth Action Endorses Progressives in Local CA General Election

WASHINGTON – Today, Friends of the Earth Action announced its endorsements for local candidates in Culver City, California’s general election. This round of endorsements is part of the organization’s effort to support progressives at the local level to impact state and federal policies and candidates. With Democrats in Culver City pushing progressive policies in the face of fossil-fueled opposition, FOE Action endorses these candidates so they can further progressive legislation in their city and beyond.

Kayla Mohammed, Federal Policy Advocate at Friends of the Earth Action, issued the following statement:

Electing bold leaders who will stand up for people and the planet is critical, especially at the state and local level. We need decisionmakers in office who are unafraid to fight for what is right and will put communities over corporate profits. These candidates will undoubtedly do just that. We strongly encourage Culver City residents to vote for these candidates in the upcoming general election.

Below are the candidates the organization has endorsed:

Culver City Council

  • Freddy Puza
  • Alex Fisch

Culver City School Board

  • Triston Ezidore
  • Stephanie Loredo
