FOE Action endorses Paul Clements for U.S. House of Representatives

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Friends of the Earth Action has endorsed Paul Clements to represent Michigan’s 6th District in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Friends of the Earth Action President Erich Pica issued the following statement:

Michigan’s sixth district is my childhood backyard and home to some of the most beautiful land in the country, so the decision to endorse Paul Clements is both professional and deeply personal. We need a Representative who values Michigan’s natural resource heritage and will fight to protect it — unlike incumbent Fred Upton, who has not only forgotten this responsibility, but puts the big oil and gas industries above the sixth district’s interests. Paul is committed to creating clean energy jobs, energy-efficient manufacturing, and getting Big Money out of politics. Friends of the Earth Action strongly endorses Paul Clements for this critical job.
