Friends of the Earth Action Endorses Maryland Progressives for July Primary Races

WASHINGTON – Today, Friends of the Earth Action issued its latest round of endorsements, expressing support for Donna Edwards for Maryland’s 4th Congressional district and McKayla Wilkes for Maryland’s 5th Congressional district. These endorsements further the organization’s mission to elevate policymakers who will advocate for a healthier and more just world.

Ariel Moger, Government and Political Affairs Manager for Friends of the Earth Action, issued the following statement:

At a time in our nation when the stakes couldn’t be higher, we need to elect more bold progressives to Congress to fight for people and our planet. Between the worsening climate crisis, ongoing pandemic, and attacks on basic human rights, we need leaders in office who are unafraid to fight for what is right. We know that Donna Edwards and McKayla Wilkes will do just that, and we strongly urge voters to send these incredible women to Congress.
