Friends of the Earth Action Endorses Kina Collins in Illinois Race

WASHINGTON – Today, Friends of the Earth Action announced its endorsement of Kina Collins for Illinois’s 7th Congressional District. The endorsement is part of the organization’s mission to support candidates who consistently advocate for people and the planet in elections across the country. 

Ariel Moger, Government and Political Affairs Manager for Friends of the Earth Action, issued the following statement: 

We are thrilled to endorse Kina Collins for Congress. As a lifelong activist, Collins has substantial experience fighting for her community. She understands the urgent need to address systemic issues like environmental racism with bold and ambitious policies, and we know she will be a champion for everyday people and the climate in Washington. We strongly urge the voters of Illinois’ 7th Congressional district to vote for Kina Collins.
