Friends of the Earth Action Endorses Jackie Fielder for San Francisco Supervisor 

WASHINGTON – Today, Friends of the Earth Action announced its endorsement of Jackie Fielder for San Francisco District 9 Supervisor. Among other distinctions, Fielder is an Indigenous and Latina organizer, educator and leading climate advocate who campaigned against the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline and co-founded the San Francisco Public Bank Coalition to divest city funds from the banks funding fossil fuels. 

The general election for San Francisco Board of Supervisors District 9 will be held on November 5.

Friends of the Earth Action is thrilled to endorse Jackie Fielder and her bold, progressive vision for San Francisco District 9 Supervisor. Whether fighting against harmful pipelines or challenging Wall Street’s financing of dirty fossil fuels, Fielder is not afraid to take on the polluting corporations perpetuating our climate crisis. We urge voters to support Jackie Fielder this November so that she may continue her fantastic leadership defending our planet and communities.
