FOE Action endorses Keith Ellison for Democratic National Committee Chair

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Friends of the Earth Action today announced its endorsement of Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) for Democratic National Committee Chair.

Friends of the Earth Action is proud to endorse Rep. Keith Ellison for DNC Chair. From the fight to stop the Keystone XL pipeline to the efforts to end government subsidies for fossil fuels, Rep. Ellison has been on the frontlines fighting to protecting public health and the planet. Even more importantly, Rep. Ellison has demonstrated tireless leadership in reforming our democracy and advancing social and economic justice for the American people.

Rep. Ellison sees the needs of the American people and he isn’t afraid to take on corporate power.  From the fight for $15 to taking on Big Oil Rep. Ellison has stood with working Americans against special interests.  And he isn’t afraid to roll up his sleeves and get his hands dirty.  Representative Ellison is the progressive leader that the Democratic Party needs to articulate a positive vision for all Americans.
