Friends of the Earth Action endorses eight candidates for U.S. Senate
WASHINGTON, D.C.– Friends of the Earth Action announced today, its endorsement of eight candidates running for U.S. Senate.
Ariel Moger, political coordinator for Friends of the Earth Action, issued the following statement on behalf of the organization:
Friends of the Earth Action is proud to endorse these candidates for U.S. Senate who will fight for people and the planet. Flipping the Senate is important, but it doesn’t guarantee any meaningful action on the public health, climate, and race crises in America. We need to elect progressive champions who will always put communities over corporate profits. The Supreme Court, our environment, and our democracy are all on the line this November. We strongly urge our members, activists, environmentalists, and voters to support these candidates on election day.
